Acceptance
By creating a Mixrounds account or using the service, you accept these Terms and the documents they incorporate — the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Addendum and the Cookie Policy.
The Mixrounds service
Mixrounds is a client-review and back-office platform for freelance mix and master engineers. Features include waveform review with timestamped comments, revision-round tracking, no-account client portals, work-for-hire contracts, invoicing, client CRM and file delivery. We describe the current feature set at mixrounds.com.
Your account
You must be 18 or older, provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use Mixrounds for work you're authorised to do. You can add collaborators — you're responsible for their compliance with these Terms.
Subscriptions, billing and taxes
During the private beta, Mixrounds is free. When we introduce paid plans, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email. Founder-rate users lock in their announced rate for life on that plan tier.
Subscription fees are billed via Stripe. VAT and other applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your billing country. Refunds are pro-rated where required by consumer-protection law; otherwise, subscriptions run through the paid period.
Content you upload
Audio, briefs, contracts, comments and any other material you upload is yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit and display it for the sole purpose of running the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or close the account (subject to §6 of the Privacy Policy).
Intellectual property and licence
The Mixrounds platform, our software, brand assets and documentation are our property or licensed to us. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service under these Terms. No reverse-engineering, no scraping, no reselling the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mixrounds to:
- Upload content you do not have the rights to distribute.
- Process material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours (child sexual abuse material, terrorism content, non-consensual intimate imagery).
- Interfere with the service, other users, or our sub-processors.
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or the revision-round accounting.
Beta features
Features marked as beta, preview or experimental may change, break or disappear. We won't rug-pull without warning, but you shouldn't build production workflows around a beta feature unless we've said it's stable.
Term and termination
You can close your account any time from account settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts for material breach after 14 days' notice to cure, or immediately for illegal use. On termination, you get 30 days to export your data.
Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the greater of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law says can't be excluded.
Indemnification
You'll defend us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms; we'll defend you against claims that our service, used as intended, infringes a third party's IP. Standard carve-outs apply.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you disagree, you can close the account before the change lands.
